Goodday my fellow Witches and wizards! I am channelling my inner Trelawney and created this beautiful and soothing moon milk. Warm oat milk infused with cherries, lavender, fennel seeds, ginger and vanilla. The perfect witchy spirit to drink during full moon 🌑 or if you have troubles with sleep. This hot drink is perfect for drinking before going into a deep and comforting sleep. And even during our monthly bloody curse it helps with cramps and muscle pain. So let's get started!

How to make

For one full moon bottle:

6 servings

🔮 1 litre of oat milk

🔮 2 tsp vanilla powder (organic)

🔮 1 tbsp culinairy lavender

🔮 6 thin ginger spices

🔮 3 tbsp agave syrup

🔮 125 grams of frozen cherries

🔮 1 tsp fennel seeds

🔮 2 or 3 star anise

🔮 3 cardamom pods

Magical Method   🌑

Take a medium size pan/cauldron. Add the milk, cherries and all of the ingredients above. Put the mixture to a low simmer. Let the flavours infuse and cherries time to let their juices and magic out. Stir occaissionally for ten minutes. After ten minutes steeping and infusing, put the fire out and put the lid on the pan. Let the mixture brew for 5-10 min.

Sieve the mixture after brewing. For a frothy finish put the moon milk in the blender or milk frother. Drink hot for a relaxing and soothing moment for yourself.

If you have leftovers the moon milk is so good through a homemade smoothie. Overnight oats or any plantbased milk based recipe.

Garnish your moon milk with a few lavender petals. Every time you take a sip the aroma from the lavender will calm and ease your senses...🔮

Enjoy the magic

Feb. 2021: After eyeing this recipe for almost year (and enduring a lavender and fennel shortage in my part of the U.S.A.), I finally made this recipe this week and my....it IS a delicious libation! :-)
The flavors meld well together and I used an immersion blender (instead of straining). This drink is mild and absolutely tasty...a keeper of a recipe! :-) :-)
