Health potion? What is that? I am obsessed with slowjucing fruit, veggies and aromatics. And all of these health potions have a different effect on your body, mind and soul. Health potion NO.1 is made with Asian pear, clementines, ginger, turmeric, cardamom and lime. Let me show you how to make the first one.
You will need:
- 6 clementines
- 1 lime
- 4 cardamom pods
- thumb size piece of ginger
- 1 piece of turmeric
- 1 big plump Asian pear
I have a really powerful juicer (@JUICEME) so I can put the cardamom pods in whole. You also can take them out of the shell and use the little black seeds.
Peel the clementines and lime. The rest of the fruits and aromatics I'll leave the skin on because they are pact with nutritional value.
I love to drink this juice on an empty stomach before breakfast. Especially people who suffer from IBS can feel an immense relief because of the medicinal working from turmeric and ginger.
