Feeling a little under the weather? Then this is the perfect bowl of oats for you.  The yellow colour comes from the fresh turmeric and it is heavenly spices with cinnamon, cardamom and five spice. Topped with delicious berries. Banana and dark chocolate. Let me show you how to make it:


This recipe is for one muggle.


You will need: 


- 1 banana
- 1 fresh turmeric
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup of plantbased milk (I used soymilk)
- zest of one lime
- 1,5 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of fine oats
- 1 tsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp from each of the spices: cinnamon, cardamom and five spice




- berries
- pomegranate jewels
- dark chocolate
- shredded coconut
- cacao nibs
- carmellised banana (or you can leave it raw)


Mix everything for the turmeric oats in a large bowl. Grate with a fine zester the lime and fresh turmeric and mix through. Cover the oats and set aside in the fridge overnight or at least for three hours.


If you want the banana carmellised then heat up a frying pan on medium heat. Put the slices banana with the cut side down en fry for 2 minutes on each side with a splash of maple syrup to give it a golden brown colour. Serve the oats in the most beautiful bowl you have. And plate up! Enjoy and make the magic happen!
